Yesterday’s gathering got a nice blurb at BurbankSoup. The article also includes some good background on the winter homeless shelter we so strongly oppose. Thanks Maryellen!

Wow!. What a day. We had an amazing turnout at our community gathering today at Pacific Park. Between 35 and 50 people came together to sign our letter to the Mayor and to voice their concerns for the neighborhood. We would like to thank Councilman Dr. David Gordon for coming to the event to inform us on the Armory shelter issue and other issues confronting Burbank. Everyone was allowed to ask questions, and express their concerns for safety and future for our children and our neighborhood.
